Abstract

|
목적: 본 연구는 수지요법이 하반신마비 환자의 변비완화에 미치는 효과를 파악함으로써 장애인 간호 실무 발전에 도움을 주고자 실시하였다.
방법: 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 21.0을 이용하여 동질성 검정은 χ2-test와 t-test, 가설검정은 Repeated measures ANOVA와 Scheffe로 분석하였다.
결과: 제 1가설 : “수지요법을 적용받은 실험군은 적용받지 않은 대조군에 비해 시간경과에 따른 주당 배변횟수에 차이가 있을 것이다.”라는 제 1가설은 지지되었다(F=6.61, p=.013). 제 2가설 : “수지요법을 적용받은 실험군은 적용받지 않은 대조군에 비해 시간경과에 따른 배변만족도에 차이가 있을 것이다.”는 제 2가설은 지지되었다(F=10.90, p=.002). 제 3가설 : “수지요법을 적용받은 실험군은 적용받지 않은 대조군에 비해 시간경과에 따른 변비정도에 차이가 있을 것이다.”라는 제 3가설은 지지되었다(F=16.69, p=.000).
결론: 수지요법은 척수손상 하반신마비 환자의 주당 배변 횟수와 배변만족도를 증가시키고, 변비 사정 점수를 감소시켜 척수손상 하반신마비 환자의 변비완화에 효과적임을 확인하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of hand acupressure in relieving constipation among patients with paraplegia.
Methods: Data were collected from a total of 52 participants with paraplegia from a spinal cord injury. Data were analyzed by chi-square test and t-test using SPSS/WIN 21.0.
Results: The numbers of bowel movements per week increased in the experimental group who have received hand acupressure increased as compared with the control. Satisfaction with defecation of the experimental group improved as compared with the control. The level of constipation in the experimental group decreased compared to the control.
Conclusion: We found that hand acupressure is effective in relieving constipation among patients with paraplegia froma spinal cord injury.
